Dr. Yanbin Xu, DMD | General Dentist in Vancouver

Dr. Yanbin Xu founded False Creek Pure Dental with a simple goal: to make modern dentistry precise, comfortable, and personal.

His path to Vancouver began at West China University of Medical Sciences, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry in 1989 before continuing his studies in Japan. In 2000, he completed a Ph.D. in Prosthodontics at Asahi University in Gifu Prefecture.

After moving to Canada, Dr. Xu earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the UBC School of Dentistry in 2010. Years of practice in Burnaby and Vancouver shaped his patient-first approach and his belief that excellent care starts with listening.

Today, he combines broad clinical experience with advanced tools, including a Carl Zeiss dental microscope, pain-comfort techniques, implant procedures, PRF, and minor-trauma wisdom tooth extraction. His focus is always the same: thoughtful treatment, careful precision, and a comfortable visit.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Xu enjoys forest jogging, the Grouse Grind, kayaking, and paddle-boarding with his family.
